Geneva, Switzerland - Geneva will host a 2009 edition of the fabled 1001 nights when the Sultanat of Oman comes to town as the guest of honour for the Fêtes de Genève. The fete, which is Switzerland’s largest tourist attraction, consists of Music, arts, food, and fireworks, and bought 15 Million visitors from across the globe to Geneva.
27 Art Street and Excellence International is hosting an India week as part of the biggest fest in Four Seasons Hotel des Burgues Geneva, and as part of the Gala, will curate an exhibit and represent Indian Contemporary Art , the proceeds from which shall benefit various charities from the world over. There will also be a fashion show with Indian Textiles and craftsmanship.It’s a joint attempt by Excellence International and 27 Art Street to capture the imagination of the world attending, with special focus on Jodhpur, the rich heritage hotels and art of India.
Besides being an excellent opportunity for Cultural exchange, with 250 of the world’s renowned guests, It is also intended to increase and attract Swiss Tourism in India, and an attempt to help the current Tourism Situation in India.
Exhibit shall focus on the importance of 15th August, and celebrate the hospitality and Culture of India.
The exhibit will carry on at the Four Seasons Hotel des Burgues for a week.
