As a content specialist, responsible for the company’s collections, together with the Publication Specialist, Preeti Singh Rajawat creates collection catalogs, looking after the tangible aspects of the art, including art works and collectibles. She would be responsible for acquisition and care of objects. Besides decision making regarding objects to collect, oversee their care and documentation, conduct research based on the collection, and share the research with the public and scholarly community through exhibitions and publications.
She advices Corporates , Private collectors and Galleries alike in building and expanding their collections, and also initiates various collaborations with the artist and Museum Community the world over. Her extensive travels help in researching the best practices for art collections .
From finding a strategy for display to providing investment options, Preeti Singh Rajawat works as a consultant for art , with Corporates and collectors, to built a valuable collection which they would be proud to house, and also, be excellent investment options.
A product of The National Museum Institute, of Museology and Fine Arts, New Delhi, she also has a Masters degree, in English and American Literature. A background in Textiles, and jewellery design, helped her pursuit art, and explore various mediums.
Exploring new models of Curatorial practices, and institutional collaboration, to enhance the understanding of contemporary art, and establish an easy partnership between art and its collectors is the focus.
